I made a pretty sweet fire, we cooked cheddar-dogs and s'mores, and sat in our camping chairs for like 4 hours just talking about life. It was fun to hang out with friends and get some good conversation going. We had deer walk right up to us. This was neat but probably not a good thing that deer are so comfortable being close to people. We also made the poor decision of leaving our food right outside of the tent but, all that got eaten was our bread and hot dog buns. The whole trip was full of laughter and good times.
We slept like bricks. In the morning we ate pop-tarts and went for a swim in the lake. The lake was beautiful but, we have now nick-named it white-trash lake due to some company in the water. Conclusion, thank God for bug spray, good friends, good food, fun scenery, and we should camp every weekend. Here are some pictures for your enjoyment:
